Agreed, this is a great summary, and in fact these were some of the original reasons that we have had SCTP on the agenda as an item to be addressed.

Randall actually gave us a lot of advice back in the early days before we descoped the AMQP/SCTP effort originally -- we may need to jog his memory a bit since it has been six years, but as we can see from the article, the reasons for implementing it are still valid.
