Subject: RE: [amqp-bindmap] RE: SOAP-AMQP pre-draft distribution?
Great – thank you, Paul! From: Paul Knight [mailto:paul.the.knight@gmail.com]
Sounds good - I put together the first outline version (based on the W3C doc) in case someone had some material they wanted to provide immediately. I'll get the text inserted into an initial working draft before
the next AMQP-Bindmap meeting, and we can go from there. Best regards, Paul On Wed, Sep 4, 2013 at 10:59 PM, Steve Huston <shuston@riverace.com> wrote: I agree, Andy. Paul, we were thinking you'd dig into the W3C docs and do the first-pass extract of pertinent information from W3C for our SOAP binding to AMQP document. I expect this will
result in a good start that has some holes, problems, etc. that the TC will need to collaborate on to fix. Let me know what you think – feel free to call me to discuss

<Doddington>, Andrew Doddington <andrew.doddington@baml.com> As already discussed, this document can leverage the W3C ‘SOAP over Java Message Service 1.0’ document
(http://www.w3.org/TR/soap12-part0) which provides a lot of the wording/detail that we require. This will clearly be subject to a fair amount of word-smithing to recognize the fact that JMS is
an API, while AMQP is a wire-level transport. In addition, the Normative References section should refer to ‘SOAP Version 1.2 Part 0: Primer (Second
Edition)’ (http://www.w3.org/TR/soap12-part0/), ‘SOAP Version 1.2 Part 1: Messaging Framework (Second Edition)’ (http://www.w3.org/TR/soap12-part1/)
and ‘SOAP Version 1.2 Part 2: Adjuncts (Second Edition)’ (http://www.w3.org/TR/soap12-part2/). Andy From:

On Behalf Of Steve Huston Hi BINDMAPpers, Paul Knight has an initial document structure for the SOAP/AMQP work. At this point we would like
those with contributions to the SOAP area to: 1.
Look this over quickly to ensure this is going in the right direction 2.
Work on beginning to refine this, add content, remove what’s not needed, etc.
Andy, you’re the major SOAP person, so your contributions are particularly needed. Also, Rob Godfrey,
I would like you to pay (or delegate) particular attention to whatever info is needed to ensure the message mapping remains coordinated with JMS. To help Paul keep moving progress forward, please add your name or initials or something to the file
as you edit, and forward the results to Paul before COB Wednesday September 4. Thank you! -Steve From: Paul Knight [mailto:paul.the.knight@gmail.com]
Hi Steve, I've put together a document with the outline in very rough form, based on the W3C SOAP over JMS model, as discussed. I wanted to get it out so the team can do some quick butchery, then
begin to fill in the relevant sections with whatever material, stream-of-consciousness, or more detailed outline elements we can gather in a week. I'm not sure I have email addresses for all of the attendees on the call today. If you can forward this to the interested parties (and include me in the distribution), then we'll have a starting point for any contributions the team can come up with in the coming
week. It probably makes sense for each contribution to have a modified file name (maybe add your initials).
I don't see a need to use "markup" tracking at this stage - just plain text (and of course diagrams if wanted) will be fine.
