Subject: Re: [amqp] Re: [amqp-ms] Re: Mark your calendar for next week's AMQP TC meeting on 30-Oct-12 at 10am ET (actually)

Hi Ram

I tried signing up as Kaazing's company representative, however, it looks like a record already exists with my email address (jonathan.poulter@kaazing.com).

Do you know whether someone has registered me, on my behalf, in the last few days?

Thanks

Jon

The agenda for the AMQP TC meeting on Oct 30th 7-8am PT has been posted: https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/amqp/email/archives/201210/msg00017.html.

Mr. Wolf Tombe has joined the AMQP TC as a new member. Welcome! You should now be receiving emails posted to the AMQP TC mailing list.

I don't see Jonathan Poulter registered yet as a member of the AMQP TC. Jonathan, could you please register yourself as a member of the AMQP TC? For IPR reasons, registration as a member of the AMQP Technical Committee is required prior to participation. To register as a member of the AMQP TC, you can do so by following the instructions by clicking the  "Join the TC" link in the page https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=amqp.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers.

HI,

The normal practice for our group is to utilize the EDT timezone.
As you correctly state Alexis, there is a European clock change event this week. (falling back by one hour)

The AMQP meetings will therefore be one hour earlier than usual for those people dialing in from Europe who turn their clocks back this weekend.

(For those in Europe who are changing their clocks)
The AMQP technical committee meeting will be 2pm on Tuesday UK time.
The AMQP member section meeting will be 3pm on Wednesday UK time.

Regards, Laurie

10am ET will be 2pm in the UK, due to the daylight savings mismatch.  Right?

All,

On Monday , October 29, the ballot for the OASIS Advanced Message
Queuing Protocol (AMQP) Version 1.0 as an OASIS Standard closes. As it
currently stands the votes are [60 yes : 1 abstain : 0 no]. The
required number of votes to pass is 48 yes, so if things stand through
Monday on Tuesday we will have the reached one of the most significant
milestone in our effort over these past years. It will be very good to
mark this occasion as a team on Tuesday's TC call (details below).

In addition, on this call we will be introducing a new member to the
AMQP team, Wolf Tombe, the CTO of the US and Border Protection, and
the new representative for Kaazing, Jonathan Poulter, their Global Architect.

It is a good day for AMQP and should be a good meeting.

Hopefully we will see you on the call.

Warm regards,

John and Matthew
