Subject: RE: [amqp-ms] Reopening AMQP Steering Committee Nominations
I hereby nominate myself for one of the open seats on the AMQP Steering Committee. I have been involved with the AMQP work since 2010 and I have been instrumental in guiding the AMQP standardization work. I served on the AMQP Steering Committee
during August 2011 through 2013 and helped advance AMQP 1.0 to an OASIS Standard and then to an International Standard.
AMQP is increasingly being used in a number of scenarios including from the cloud to the device. Interoperability is key to demonstrating successful use of
the protocol in a variety of scenarios. My intention with wanting to serve again on the Steering Committee is primarily to help with achieving broader interoperability of AMQP not only amongst existing implementations but also in end-to-end scenarios involving
other protocols. Looking forward to serve you! Thank you. From: amqp-ms@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:amqp-ms@lists.oasis-open.org]
