Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (AMQP-100) Increasing MIN-MAX-FRAME-SIZE for SASL AMQPCBS
Brian Raymor created AMQP-100: --------------------------------- Summary: Increasing MIN-MAX-FRAME-SIZE for SASL AMQPCBS Key: AMQP-100 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/AMQP-100 Project: OASIS Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) TC Issue Type: Improvement Components: Claims Based Security Affects Versions: cbs-WD03 Reporter: Brian Raymor Assignee: Brian Raymor Fix For: cbs-WD04 As defined in Section 5.31 of [AMQP]: The maximum size of a SASL frame is defined by MIN-MAX-FRAME-SIZE. There is no mechanism within the SASL negotiation to negotiate a different size. // Due to the requirement to transfer potentially large sets of tokens during the SASL exchange, Rob Godfrey suggested that implementations of the AMQPCBS mechanisms could support a larger maximum SASL frame size. It would be useful to have concrete information about the size of the expected token sets. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
