Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (AMQP-136) Response cookie usage in example

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/AMQP-136?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=66924#comment-66924 ]

Rob Godfrey commented on AMQP-136:
----------------------------------

I don't read the example that way, but I'm not very happy with the example in general. I think my original intent was to provide a hight level overview of the exchange rather than jump straight into the (dry) definitions. I don't think the example really succeeds in that (it's very dry in itself), and if we simply reiterate with the level of detail we also give in the formal definitions, then I'm not sure if there is any value in the example as it is.

> The example scenario appears to be putting conditions around whether the response is annotated with the "address-cookie". The example should be clearer that if "response-address-cookie" is present, in a message, any response to that message MUST be annotated with "address-cookie" (as explained in 2.3)
