Infoteria Corporation Announces iPEX for Java
The world's first commercial XML engine adds Java compatibility

TOKYO, Japan and BOSTON, Mass.  - Infoteria Corporation, the XML software company, announced today the availability of iPEX for Java.  iPEX is an award-winning, high performance, cross-platform XML development platform used by more than 100 companies to develop XML-based applications or enhance existing applications with XML functionality.  Today's addition of iPEX for Java to the lengthy list of supported environments is a result of a growing user demand.

iPEX, the world's first XML processing engine, began shipping in January 1999, and currently supports a wide range of C++ environments (Windows 95/98, Windows NT/2000, Solaris, and Linux).  iPEX is also available as a set of COM components, enabling complete XML functionality to be implemented in Visual Basic applications and Active Server Pages. This powerful API development kit is fully compatible with a wide range of international languages, including all three Japanese encoding methods and nine European encoding methods.  iPEX provides all of the critical functionality needed by applications that handle XML data, including validating and non-validating parsers, DTD processing, XSL transformations, and DOM (Document Object Model) and SAX (Simple API for XML) support.
