OASIS is pleased to support and cosponsor NEXTWARE Spring 2002 at the
Baltimore Convention Center on 20-23 May. NEXTWARE is an educational
conference for developers, analysts, system architects, CTOs and CIOs
with in-depth exposure to enterprise XML and Web services technologies.
James Tauber of Bowstreet and co-chair of the OASIS Directory Services
Technical Committee will speak about "Transaction Reliability in Web
Services." Dr. Robert Sutor, recent past member of the OASIS Board of
Directors and Vice Chair of the OASIS--United Nations/CEFACT ebXML
initiative, will keynote. Charles Wiecha of IBM and chair of the OASIS
Web Services for Interactive Applications Technical Committee will
present "OASIS Standards on Web Services for Interactive Applications".
Eve Maler of Sun Microsystems Inc. and the OASIS XML-Based Security
Services Technical Committee will speak about Security Assertion Markup
Language (SAML) Basics. Norbert Mikula, a member of the OASIS Board of
Directors will present "Topic Maps, Portals and Information Management."
