ebXML Messaging V2.0 Interoperability Test Starts June 2002 - Call for
Participation

Drummond Group and the OASIS ebXML IIC Coordinate the Use of the Test Suite

Austin TX; May 7, 2002—Drummond Group Inc., a leading vendor-neutral
interoperability consultancy, announces that the next round of ebXML
Messaging v2.0 Interoperability testing under the Uniform Code Council’s
(UCC) Global Solution Interoperability Testing Program is targeted to begin
June 2002.  Facilitated by Drummond Group Inc., the program will test
product interoperability issues around the ebXML Messaging Specification
V2.0 in coordination with the supporting technical committees within OASIS.

Test scenarios will align with the OASIS ebXML Implementation,
Interoperability and Conformance Technical Committee’s conformance
guidelines as they become available. Additional future tests are planned for
other specifications within the ebXML suite.

Drummond Group Inc. facilitated a similar interoperability test for ebXML
Messaging v2.0
earlier this year with four vendors completing the test: bTrade inc.,
Cyclone Commerce, Sterling Commerce and Sybase.

ebXML is a modular suite of specifications, sponsored jointly by OASIS and
UN/CEFACT, which enable enterprises of any size and in any location to
conduct business over the Internet. Using ebXML, companies now have a
standard method to exchange business messages, conduct trading
relationships, communicate data in common terms and define and register
business processes.

Finally, feedback from the UCC Global Interoperability Testing Program will
be provided to the OASIS ebXML Messaging Services Technical Committee, which
is responsible for ongoing development of the specification.
