Subject: [announce] Call for Papers: Web Services Workshops


The Object Management Group announces a call for presentations for its
two
2003 Web Services Workshops focusing on Modeling, Architecture,
Infrastructure and Standards.  The first workshop will be located in
Europe, February 10 -13, 2003 and the second will take place on the U.S.
West Coast, March 10 -13, 2003.

The Workshops are open to all with an interest in, and understanding of,
Web Services technologies, architectures, modeling solutions and
standards.
The four-day program will consist of tutorials in Web Services, followed
by
sessions and open panel discussions that describe case studies and
technology issues and choices for enterprise applications that were
designed using industry standards and specifications.

The Workshop Program Committee is seeking proposals for presentations or
panels addressing any of the following topics for each event:

·	Case Studies: Using Web Services in Software Development
·	Web Services Standards
·	Tools
·	Architectures
·	E-Business Development
·	Methodologies
·	Technologies
·	State of the art and the Future of Web Services

INSTRUCTIONS
Interested individuals or organizations are invited to submit a brief
abstract of the presentation or position paper they are proposing,
including a brief biography of the presenter. Please note the workshop
venue(s) and dates for which the proposal is being submitted. You may
submit for one or both. (Submitters are highly encouraged to consider
presenting at both workshop venues.) Abstract length should be no longer
than 1 page. Abstracts must be sent in your choice of HTML, PDF or ASCII
text formats. No more than 3 abstracts per individual will be accepted
for
consideration. Biographies should be no longer than 50 words. This
information should be submitted via email to webservicesws@omg.org, by
October 28, 2002.
