Subject: OASIS Member News: XML 2003: Be There -- Your Prospects and Competitors Will Be!

XML 2003: Be There -- Your Prospects and Competitors Will Be!

XML 2003 is the leading conference on XML, Web Services, Publishing,
e-Government and related
topics.

The reputation of the XML conference program is unparalleled; in fact, more
than 300 individuals submitted abstracts for consideration on this year's
program.

Each year we offer new opportunities for software and services companies to
gain visibility and interact with decision makers in this growing market,
and this year is no exception. In addition to traditional sponsorship and
exhibit opportunities, we are offering several exciting -- and
affordable -- new options for participation. These include:

1. Sponsorship without booth space. This is designed for companies that want
a presence at XML 2003, but do not have the staff and time resources to
support a booth at the event. Pricing for this sponsorship is $10,000 for
IDEAlliance Members and $11,500 for non-members. For more information and
benefits of this package visit:
http://www.xmlconference.org/xmlusa/2003/sponsorship.asp or call Joy Blake
Scott, 303-639-6069.

2. Pods. These are stands that included monitor, Internet connection,
electricity, and signage with company name. All that you have to do is show
up with your laptop and a demo and you are ready to go! For more information
and pricing call Tanya Bosse, tsbosse@aol.com or 703-443-1717 or Joy Blake
Scott, joy@longleafpr.com or 303-639-6069.

3. XSL-FO Chef's Tools Exhibition. This is a technical exhibition of XSL-FO
tools that will show number, variety and strengths of each. The
demonstration is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10 at 7:00 PM and is open
to the public. The display will also be available December 8-12 in
print/poster form during the conference and available on the conference web
site. For more information contact Tommie Usdin at btusdin@mulberrytech.com.

4. Vendor Presentations. Deadline is October 3, 2003. This is an opportunity
for you, the XML industry tool creators and vendors, to present and explain
your products. The Planning Committee is accepting proposals from vendors
and tool creators until October 3, 2003. The products may be commercial,
open source, or proof of concept demonstrations. For more information or to
submit an abstract visit
http://www.xmlconference.org/xmlusa/2003/program.asp.

5. Full conference sponsorships, exhibit space and advertising are still
available. Join Adobe, ThomasTech Solutions, ReportLab, ArborText, Antenna
House, Addison-Wesley, DataDirect, Progressive Information Technology,
Sarvega, Smart Draw, Software AG and others at XML 2003. Booth space is
$38/square foot. For IDEAlliance members booth space is $31/square foot.
Contact Joy Blake Scott at 303-639-6069 or joy@longleafpr.com or visit

information.

In addition to these new opportunities, we have also added additional
benefits for companies that participate as a sponsor or exhibitor. These
include access to top industry media, a press release about your
involvement, as well as creative ways to drive traffic to your booth at
the event. A full list of benefits can be found at
http://www.xmlconference.org/xmlusa/2003/sponsorship.asp.
