OASIS Member News: Upcoming Ontopia Courses in June

Welcome to the Ontopia training in Oslo & Chicago!

The first class will be held in Oslo from June 6-10, 2005 and followed by a 
class in Chicago from June 20-24, 2005.

The class is directed at people who want to understand how ontology-driven 
technologies can help them manage the meaning of their
information. The course doesn't require any previous experience with Topic 
Maps or the Ontopia Knowledge Suite (OKS).

While some attendees may have had a first glance at the Ontopia Omnigator, 
and even created their own topic maps, there is much more
to explore. This course gives you the opportunity to gain a fuller 
understanding of every aspect of Topic Maps, interact with
Ontopia's experts, meet other users, and learn how to build your own custom 
applications with the OKS. Attendees of days 3, 4 and/or
5 receive a free 30-day evaluation license of the OKS.

The class can be taken as a five-day course that will give you a thorough 
foundation for working with Topic Maps-based technology,
or as individual days based on your particular interests, e.g., ontology 
design or practical hands-on Topic Maps application
development.

The price is EUR 700 (NOK 5750) per person/day. We offer the complete 
five-day course for EUR 3000 (NOK 24600) per person. If there
is interest to send several people from one company, we offer a discount of 
50% for the 2nd and any further person.

offered for USD 3600 per person. If there is interest to send
