Subject: GPDIS 2015, event supported by OASIS OSLC Member Section
The Global Product Data Interoperability Summit (GPDIS) functions
as a communications hub for industry principals to foster knowledge
through the exchange of ideas, solutions, and methods. It also builds
consensus for tool and process standards in the industry. Visit the website www.gpdisonline.com
to register today.
On Monday morning (Sept 28th) at 8AM,
the Model Based Systems Engineering/ Computer Aided Engineering
(MBSE/CAE) track leaders are coordinating
and hosting a special early-bird workshop focused on industry data
standards for Systems design, modeling and data exchange, "MBSE and
Evaluating a Data Interoperability Ecosystem".
The workshop is open to all GPDIS registered
participants, and will be moderated by Greg Pollari from Rockwell
Collins, and Mark Williams from The Boeing Company. The workshop will
include discussions on various Systems Engineering data standards, the
applicable
standards bodies, priorities for Suppliers and OEMs, and expectations
for support within the COTS industry. Specific topics may include:
standards for modeling a systems architecture; avenues for data
exchange; and how requirements, functional, and logical
design data can be analyzed and integrated. There will be several
special presentations to initiate and encourage the discussions. See
the MBSE
Workshop Abstract for more information.
To ensure adequate facility accommodations, RSVP is appreciated (gregory.pollari@rockwellcollins.com;
