Conference call began 9:00 am PST, Nov 23,
2004
Attendance:
- Keith Swenson
- John Fuller
- Justin Brunt
Discussion Items
- Since last meeting Keith has distributed
the Observer brochure, and Layna has put it on the WfMC web site.
- Justin has made a first draft of the
Participant's Brochure. Keith responded with a potential XPDL standard
manufacturer's process which consisted of a start node, delay node, and end
node. Just realized, though, that there is no standard for "Delay node"
in XPDL -- this is accomplished with a regular node with extended
attributes.
- One choice is to go ahead and include the
proper extended attributes, the other option is to find a basic process
without a delay node.
- Remembered that Arnaud Bezancon was going
to make a standard process, Justin will contact him on
status.
- IDS Scheer has agreed to participate ,
Justin is approaching them and has receive some contact information, but no
response yet.
- Popkin has also signed up, and
designated Bernard Fischer as contact. Justin will follow
up.
- Provision has not been contacted yet, Keith
will do so.
- Mayilraj Krishnan has still not responded
or made any progress on the specification update. John will take
over document writing for now, and incorporate the changes.
- WS-Addressing. John has been
following this. The URL representation of addres is the only part that
is required. We should set up a "profile" that advises against the
optional pieces. We should re-allign ASAP to use WS-Addressing.
- Would be nice to update test harness to
support new WfXML 2.0 functionality, ask Jeff for help.
- Wf-XML spec - it was updated by
Sameer, but that version is not on the WfMC site. Keith will collect the
latest version and get it to Layna to put on the site.
- Keith needs to update the
"Cookbook"
