John, It's ticklish! I'd like to see more user interface components built in-front of the Registry. I agree that general users should not directly interface to the registry. So the notion of a portal - such as the eprXML model - having access to registry content to drive enduser selections and actions - makes sense. An XForms API for Registry might not be a bad "extra" here - so people could rapidly build forms extensions to registry that conform to the RIM. Just a thought!
