Subject: Groups - NIST Ref Impl - "toy" version (BIAS Toy Implementation.zip) uploaded
The document named NIST Ref Impl - "toy" version (BIAS Toy Implementation.zip) has been submitted by Cathy Tilton to the OASIS Biometric Identity Assurance Services (BIAS) Integration TC document repository. Document Description: This is a ZIP file containing two VB.NET projects, the server and client components, that work together via SOAP web services. Running the server first then the client performs the operations required by a Class 2-conformant (Identify, Verify, Enroll, RetrieveInformation, and QueryCapabilities) implementation. This is NOT ready for actual use. It is only a demonstration of a very simple server and client communication with each other using arbitrary dummy data and code generated from the latest posted WSDL (Note: the CBEFF schema used for this code generation has not been published in the standard yet, but progress is being made in this direction). Both projects were developed using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (but it should work with little/no tweaking using Visual Studio 2008) and the .NET Framework 4.0. For the \Service\ project, make sure BIAS Service is set as the default/startup project. To gracefully shut down the service, give focus its respective command prompt window and press Enter.
