Status of WD Recreated, submitted, posted and out for review; will be discussed in April INCITS meeting. 5.2 Status of CBEFF Part 3 Revision Submitted and posted and out for review; review ends on April 12th. Will discuss editorship. 6. BWS update (R. Michaels) 6.1 Status of WS-Biometric Devices specification Received comments from Booz Allen Hamilton. Incorporated first round of changes and released Draft 1 on March 1. Vetting/awaiting comments on Draft 1. 7. BIAS SOAP profile 7.1 Candidate CSD03 Download Document: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/41241/biasprofile-v1.0-csd03.doc 7.2 Status of public review to date Began February 26. No comments received yet. Cathy forwarded copy to multiple third-parties for review/comments. Cathy to follow up on posting to biometrics.gov catalog. Comments from liaison organizations are allowed to be accepted after due date. Noblis is taking a look at the SOAP profile. Kevin spoke with a few people regarding comments/review and is expecting some comments. 7.3 Next steps Wait until close and work from there. 8. Reference implementations 8.1 Status (K. Mangold) Download Document: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/40838/BIAS%20Toy%20Implementation.zip 8.2 Plan of action Kevin is working on next step/milestone for NIST’s BIAS reference implementation by adding fingerprint enrollment/matching functionality. Tentative dates are not planned yet. 9. Schedule 9.1 Work schedule April 20th meeting moved to April 27th. When Public Review closes, create PDoC. Vote within Oasis as a committee specification. Committee Specification is planned next step for BIAS. 9.2 Meeting schedule April 27th, 2011 3:00 PM EST May 25th, 2011 3:00 PM EST 10. New business 11. Action items (Cathy) Talk to Robyn about next step for pushing BIAS to a committee specification. (Cathy) Confirm that this must be a standard and not just specification before sending to ISO. (Group) Next meeting, ask for statements of use for BIAS. 12. Adjourn Please let me know if you have any items to add to the agenda. Status quo; temporarily close. • (Cathy) Bring up issue of public posting contribution at the April meeting of INCITS. • (Brad) Look into the issue of USG work being publicly available and whether ISO can copyright it. • (Cathy) Coordinate with OASIS staff to initiate 2nd 45‐day public review (of CSD03) Closed; last day for public comment/review is April 12. • (Cathy) Once PR has begun, draft a press release about it, sending it to the orgs identified. The PR should also include a paragraph related to the Ref Impl. Closed. Ongoing: · (Group) Identify BIAS implementation projects your organizations would be willing to perform. · (John & Cathy) Check if US-VISIT could participate with regards to a reference implementation. · Will’s iPad Project – possible use of BIAS reference implementation but no date/time frame set. · (Group) Review and submit items to the enhancements list. · (Cathy) – To reach out to universities for students who may be interested in a BIAS reference implementation as a project Regards, CT Catherine J.
