encoding QNames + Org Entity for HT Advanced query operations

What is the proper way to issue a query that includes a QName value or  
a tOrganizationalEntity?

e.g. QName

select Outcome where Name='http://example.com#SomeTaskName'

e.g. tOrganizationalEntity

select Name where potentialOwners='
<orgEntity ...>
    <group>operators</group>
    <group>analysts</group>
</orgEntity>'

Seems like there could be various ways to pass this info.
