Subject: [bpel4people] New Issue: Import of XML Schema Artifacts
- From: Dieter Koenig1 <dieterkoenig@de.ibm.com>
- To: bpel4people@lists.oasis-open.org

Target: WS-HumanTask 1.1, section
2.5.2 "Properties", fourth bullet.
Description: Section 2.5.2 defines
the properties of a humanInteractions element. The fourth bullet is about
the "import" element and describes imports of other Human Task
or WSDL definitions. Parameters of logical people groups reference arbitrary
XML Schema types in their "type" attribute. Therefore, XML Schema
artifacts must be imported as well.
Proposal: In WS-HumanTask 1.1,
section 2.5.2 "Properties", fourth bullet, add XML Schema to
the possible import types.
A. Change the sentence in line
400 from:
"The value of the importType
attribute MUST be set to http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/bpel4people/ws-humantask/200803
when importing human interactions definitions, or to http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
when importing WSDL 1.1 documents"
to:
"The value of the importType
attribute MUST be set to http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/bpel4people/ws-humantask/200803
when importing human interactions definitions, to http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
when importing WSDL 1.1 documents, or to http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema
when importing XML Schema documents"
B. Change the sentence in line
409 from:
"A WS-HumanTask Definition
MUST import all WS-HumanTask and WSDL definitions it uses"
to:
"A WS-HumanTask Definition
MUST import all WS-HumanTask, WSDL definitions, and XML Schema definitions
it uses".
