Subject: Re: [bpel4people] BPEL4People TC - 5/12 Draft Agenda
Hi all, This is a comment on the B4P+Arch.pptx in the BP-65. (1) In the figure (B4P+Arch.pptx), the terminologies such as Task Parent and Task Manager are not clear what they corresponds to. I can imagine that the Task Manager refers to the Task Processor, but Task Parent can be many different elements/components/events in the system. (2) Also, there is a distinction between the Task List Client and the Task UI. That is good but, as I commented, the BPEL4People hints a possibility of a Task Client between them (this may or may not be used, depending of the capability of the Task List Client). Would it be rather like below? Task List Client - (Helper Application) - Task UI or Task Client Or, the Helper Application would be the Task Client?? (3) Where does the Task UI come from and also how does it relate to the Task-as-Service (or the Interface to the Task implementation defined in the specification)? These has been my point. Although it is said to be out-of-scope, this has to be mentioned and marked as out-of-scope. As these are depicted and dissected clearly, what are described and what are missing are becoming clearer, that is great.
