Subject: [bpel4people] New Issue: Location Attribute Mandatory in Result Aggregation
Target: WS-HumanTask CD 05 revision 02, Section 4.7.2 Declarative Result Aggregation Description: Section 4.7.2 defines the <aggregate> element used to combine output from multiple subtasks. <htd:aggregate location="query" condition="bool-expr"? function= "function-call"/> If a task interface (or an individual WSDL part, see also issue BP-123) only has one simple-typed element then the location query can be optional. The aggregation function is then applied to this single simple-typed element. Example: an approval step which just returns a boolean value. Proposal: In section 4.7.2, make the @location attribute optional within the <aggregate> element: <htd:aggregate location="query"? condition="bool-expr"? function= "function-call"/> (question mark added to @location) In the explanation, change from: "The mandatory location attribute MUST contain ..." to: "The optional location attribute MUST contain ..."
