Subject: [bpel4people] Review of Changes w.r.t. Mark Ford's PRD Comments
As indicated in the TC call on March 31, the attached WS-HT specification
contains the issue proposal for the underspecified where-clauses.
At the same time, the two specifications contain ALL editing changes with
respect to Mark Ford's public review comments as discussed in the TC call
on March 31.
The attachments are titled "Committee Draft 07 Revision 1" but they are not
yet checked into the SVN library system due to the unresolved issue.
However, you may review the editorial changes in parallel (see Word change
tracking), such that the TC may proceed to the PRD 3 right after the issue
resolution.

Subject: [bpel4people] New Issue: Underspecified Where-Clause
Target:
WS-HumanTask 1.1 CD 07 and PRD 02, sections 7.1.2 Simple Query Operations
and 7.1.3 Advanced Query Operations
Description:
In where-clauses of simple query operations and advanced query operations,
it is underspecified in which format values of type xsd:QName and
htt:tOrganizationalEntity have to be provided by the API client.
Proposal:
As discussed in previous mails and the call, with the modification of
making "{namespace}" optional for QName values.
(1) In section 7.1.2 Simple Query Operations, replace the first occurence
of the paragraph (for the getMyTaskAbstracts operation) starting with:
The where clause is optional. If specified, it MUST reference exactly
one column using the following operators: (...)
as shown in the ws-humantask-1.1-spec.doc attachment.
(2) Replace the second occurence of this paragraph (for the
getMyTaskDetails operation) with text referring to the first description:
The where clause is optional. If specified, it MUST follow the same
rules described for the getMyTaskAbstracts operation.
(3) In section 7.1.3 Advanced Query Operation, add the following paragraph
to the description column (for the query operation):
For data of type xsd:QName or htt:tOrganizationalEntity in a where
clause, see the description of the getMyTaskAbstracts operation in
section 7.1.2 Simple Query Operations.
Attachments:
Important note:
The attached specification document shows the proposed resolution of this
issue in ws-humantask-1.1-spec.doc.
At the same time, it contains the editing changes with respect to Mark
Ford's public review comments as discussed in the TC call on March 31.
