which is an excellent idea. Since page-fidelity is then essential, I've made
the pdf I possibly should have made earlier.  I'm sending it to the model
list only - if others want it, please ask.

There was a minor discussion on this on the specification list some weeks
back. There doesn't seem to be a strong answer.
