Subject: Re: [business-transaction] HPs position on BEAs proposal and theChoreology response
Hi Mark, Jim and fellow BTPers, I just want to clarify that the author of that white paper obviously did not contact the OASIS BTP-aware people in BEA. I can guess that the author of the paper might have confused OASIS BTP with BEA's proposed protocol to TC in March (http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/business-transaction/200103/zip00000.z ip). That proposed protocol was also named Business Transaction Protocol. There was no hidden agenda or motive to our knowledge to give a wrong message to the market. We are in process of contacting the author and make changes to the white paper. Thanks to people for pointing it out. sanjay ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Little" <mcl@arjuna.com> To: "btp" <business-transaction@lists.oasis-open.org> Cc: "Mark Little" <m.c.little@ncl.ac.uk> Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2001 5:13 AM Subject: [business-transaction] HPs position on BEAs proposal and the Choreology response > Finally, I'd like to ask for some clarification on a point Jim Webber raised > the other day.
