Subject: Re: [business-transaction] HPs position on BEAs proposal and theChoreology response

Hi Mark, Jim and fellow BTPers,

I just want to clarify that the author of that white paper obviously did not
contact the OASIS BTP-aware people in BEA. I can guess that the author of
the paper might have confused OASIS BTP with BEA's proposed protocol to TC
in March
(http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/business-transaction/200103/zip00000.z
ip). That proposed protocol was also named Business Transaction Protocol.
There was no hidden agenda or motive to our knowledge to give a wrong
message to the market.

We are in process of contacting the author and make changes to the white
paper. Thanks to people for pointing it out.
