Title: Message
I propose that the
changes Alex made in the text he submitted on 30 March, which are included in
1.0.9.1 uploaded today be accepted as the solution to
maint-7.
However, as an
editorial point, I suggest we move the schema's out of the text document and
have them as separate ascii files. This makes it possible to take them straight
into (and out of) tools that can verify them, rather than everyone doing a
hand-cut-and-paste. The separate files should be directly and specifically
referenced from the text and regarded as logically part of it. Having the
schema's in both the text and separately risks a mis-alignment between the
formally approved (in the text) and the actually checked (in separate
file)
(This also reduces
the "thunk factor" for those who like to weigh their
documents)
Peter
