Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CAMP-152) Normative Tags Challenges, and other issues arising from aligning TAs to WD30+

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CAMP-152?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=36031#action_36031 ]

Gilbert Pilz commented on CAMP-152:
-----------------------------------

With regard to the proposal for issue#3:

a.) I'm not sure why we need to add such a detailed normative statement for this particular non-terminal, when we don't get into this level of detail for any other non-terminal. For example, we don't say "An ArtifactSpecification SHALL have the following nodes ...".

b.) As written, the tagged statement doesn't contain a normative keyword (i.e. no "SHALL", "SHOULD", or "MAY").

c.) We don't call our non-terminals "types" anymore. We just say "A ContentSpecification has ...". Also "valuesnodes" should just be "nodes".
