Area intersection

Hi all,

 

I’m working through interpreting the best way to use an area specification in a CAP message to determine which alerting endpoints to activate.

 

Are area specifications (polygons, circles) generally understood to mean that regions a system may know about are affected if those regions intersect the area at all, e.g. if an area’s polygon clipped the corner of a building or similar?
