Subject: AW: [cgmo-webcgm] Re-submittals of my 6 tests
Hi All, I
checked the test cases below and have no more comments on five of them (please proceed
to TAP). But I still don't understand
the setGetFillOffset example, or may be I don't understand this function, or
may be there is a problem in MetaWeb. Attached
to this mail is a screenshot I am getting when launching the example. The original image, as displayed in MetaWeb,
can be seen on the left, while the reference image (I guess) shows the view
after the shift operation. Or is it the
initial view as well? In this case,
either MetaWeb or the generator is wrong in the pattern interpretation as a
shift in the fill offset cannot result in a rotation of the image (from what I
see in the CGM the complete pattern is already in view). I would be grateful if somebody could check
the correct display and let me know his opinion. Also,
in the spec we are saying: "fill-offset
sets a reference point for patterns or hatch fills within the target object
(APS or picture). Fill-offset corresponds to the CGM attribute element FILL
REFERENCE POINT and overrides the current values of that attribute within the
target object (APS or picture)" In
Forrest's example the fill-offset is applied to the cgmpic object, i.e. the
picture. What does it mean to apply a
fill offset to a picture? Should all
patterns in all fill areas within the picture be shifted, regardless how many
objects there are and if the patterns are different? This would then mean that the bracket within
the rectangle should shift to the lower-left corner of the picture/rectangle as
described (except that MetaWeb would shift it out of view). Is this a correct interpretation? Thanks
for your comments Ulrich -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Ulrich -- the action item
returns to you for these 6 tests. Can you please confirm whether or not
they are now ready to advance to TAP status? All, |
