Subject: pro-active Interoperability testing?
All -- Correct me if I'm misinterpreting... I think the sentiment at the last TC telecon was that we are not interested in putting resources into "pro-active Interoperability testing". After I noticed some slippage in some viewers' results, that occurred to me as a potential work item on our list [1]. It would involve (re-) testing viewers against the Test Suite, all the way back to static functionality like text-on-path. Rather, it seems that the interest is in "interoperability repair" -- addressing interop failures case-by-case as they arise in real world usage. Thoughts or comments? -Lofton.
