Subject: Re: [chairs] Cost of conference bridge?

I am not sure what they budget for the bridge hardware/software but note that they do not offer free (888, 877 etc) numbers, rather a 617 number (Boston area). So they are providing the bridge but not paying for all the attendees calls. Also, I believe they are using VOIP in some cases now as well. The other thing they offer of course is the on-call robot that can do all sorts of interesting things but I, for one, am not asking for OASIS to get that sophisticated.

Cheers

[chairs] Cost of conference bridge?

Does anyone know how much the W3C budgets for their conference bridge each year?

I've never investigated the market rate for such things.

Or can we all just run to a VOIP server at OASIS ??!!!
