Your conference call proposal will work for me; if I have it right, in Chicago it will be 8 am on the 26th of April. By the way, the US switched two days ago to daylight savings time, setting our clocks one hour forward. Did you take this into account? I'm sure you'll provide us the details on how the call will be accomplished. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ram Kumar Sent: Monday, April 08, 2002 7:38 PM To: ciq@lists.oasis-open.org Cc: karl.best@oasis-open.org Subject: [ciq] Conference Call CIQ TC members
We need to have a conference call soon to discuss about where we want to move further with our work. I have some ideas and you all can bring in your ideas and we will come to a common agreement. Given that there is lot of interests internationally on our work in recent months, we need to start planning about our future work.
I understand that it is pretty hard to set up a conference call for our committee given that we are from different parts of the world. However, we have to plan this.
How about setting up a conference call for say, for the 26th of April (Friday).
If I set the conference call for 11:00PM my time in Sydney, it is 9:00AM in USA (Washington DC), 2:00pm in London (UK), and 3:00pm in Norway.
Robert (from UK), is this OK with you? Nikolaj (from Norway), is this OK with you? Marcus, David, John and Joe (from USA), how about you guys? Is this OK with you guys?
If you guys in USA think it is too early for you, I do not mind 10:00am (Washington DC).
Can you please confirm this?
Regards
Ram
