Subject: RE: [ciq] CIQ V3.0 integration with CoR Application of Tax XML

Ram, Michael,

This is exactly the situation I tried to avoid when I asked for scenarios.

2 main reasons to have complex types:

1. Name elements of the same type differently
2. Extend the types

We alredy allow some extensibility and any more may not be such a good idea.
Element namin ... again, I'd like to see an example where this is making a problem.

Cheers,
Max

Hi Michael,

Infact the original xPIL schema without any complex types that was defined by
Max to support your requirements meets the requirements of CoR Application.
I tested it. If you can see any specific requirements for complex types to support
Tax app. requirements, let me know. Else, we can stick to original xPIL which
is a lot simpler.

Do you want me to look at any other examples? Let me know.

Regards,

Ram

Ram,

Thank you for your hard work. I was able to open the archive and everything
seems to work fine. I will review the schemas and the instance of the CoR
Application on my way to the meeting. We should have enough to discuss the
path forward.
Kind regards,

Michael.

Hi Michael and Max,

Please find enclosed the work I did to integrate the latest draft
version of CIQ V3.0 specifications with the CoR Application of
Tax XML. Michael, I guess this is what you wanted to take
it to London.

Please review the work and let me know whether it looks fine.

I have only concentrated on CoR Application as requested by
Michael. The xPIL complex types version that Max produced
few days ago is used to meet the requirements of CoR Application.

Regards,
