I guess because "FROM [virtual table names]'' was specified in CMIS 1.1 I also expected something describing it in the BNF subset.

IT IS nothing contradictory bcause IT IS declared to be subset of the SQL Åtandard not the Full inplementation.

On the other hand everybody May extend IT in his/her inplementation.
