I freelance for a Thomson Reuter publication called "Online Currents": http://www.thomsonreuters.com.au/catalogue/ProductDetails.asp?ID=7623

For about 12 months now, I've been kicking around an article on CMIS. The audience would be those involved in implementing or managing an ECM effort from an informational / organisational perspective. They would not be developers or coders. What I want to articulate to them are the business implications and benefits of CMIS.

There's plenty on the Oasis Open site about the standard itself and some material from the AIIM but I'm interested in real-world examples where CMIS made a difference to an organisation using an ECM.

The article will be around 3500 words and I always confirm the final write-ups of case studies with those that provide them. Any help would be much appreciated but I'd also encourage you to consider it free publicity. Please reply using the email address below.
