The OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC has closed

At the request of the TC Chair and with assent of the members, the OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC has closed. 

The Technical Committee formed in November 2008 to standardize a platform-independent interface for content management based on the draft specification contributed to OASIS by EMC, IBM and Microsoft. Thanks to the dedicated effort of its members, Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) Version 1.0 was approved as an OASIS Standard in May 2010 followed by the Version 1.1 update in May 2013. In October 2016 both were approved as required standards for ICT compliance for EU government procurement.

As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/cmis/. 

The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/cmis/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/cmis-comment/. Emails can be sent to cmis-comment@lists.oasis-open.org. Subscription is required by following the instructions at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/index.php?wg_abbrev=cmis.
