Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (COEL-12) Might need a look before you leap function for large atom downloads.
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/COEL-12?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=62106#comment-62106 ] David Snelling commented on COEL-12: ------------------------------------ Return a 303 See Other 303 See Other (since HTTP/1.1) The response to the request can be found under another URI using a GET method. When received in response to a POST (or PUT/DELETE), the client should presume that the server has received the data and should issue a redirect with a separate GET message. Put information about when available and possibly size in the 303 response. > Might need a look before you leap function for large atom downloads. > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: COEL-12 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/COEL-12 > Project: OASIS Classification of Everyday Living (COEL) TC > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: David Snelling > Assignee: David Snelling > Priority: Minor > > The DE should potentially have an ‘offline’ approach (or double check) for ‘all atoms’ requests from Service Provider to Data Engine. This is to protect from too large a message and to improve the implementation of RPE. The later means this issue needs some discussion. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
