Subject: RE: [courtfiling-doc] Teleconference: LegalXML Electronic Court Filing Documents Subcommittee - 01/23/07
Rex, I plan to be involved in this effort.
However, the meeting that you a schedule for next week conflicts with a very
high priority architectural meeting that I must attend. Please post any work
in progress to the OASIS site so I can review a meaningfully comment. Regards, Don Donald L. Bergeron From: Rex McElrath
[mailto:mcelratr@gaaoc.us] This is a
meeting notice for the Electronic Court Filing Technical Committee’s
Documents Subcommittee on Tuesday, January 23rd, at 2:00PM Eastern,
11:00AM Pacific. The agenda
consists of a single topic: Identifying Business Needs and Cases for use of XML
in Documents. A corollary
topic is whether these business needs are limited to electronic court filings
or apply to a broader range of documents in the legal field. Please think
about what you and the persons that you represent need from a legal Document
and the information (data elements) contained within it. If we can post ideas
and business cases to the list serve at courtfiling-doc@lists.oasis-open.org
beforehand, we can make faster progress when we meet. A possible
outcome of this meeting might be a list of business cases to expand out and
issues to consider and try to reconcile where there may be conflicting business
cases. Meeting
