Present: David Hollis, Briana Wherry, Gershon Joseph, JoAnn Hackos, Frank Miller, Kristen Eberlein,  Rodolfo Raya, Indi Liepa, Robin Sloan, Joe Gelp, Sowmya Kannan and Scott Tsao.

JoAnn moved to approve previous minutes, Rodolfo seconded and none objected.

Action Item 1 (Participation in the Review of the DITA Language Specification) marked as closed.

Su-Laine Yeo sent a message stating that she wont be able to participate actively. 

Sowmya updated her article with the feedback received from TC members.

Kristen requested to add links to all articles about DITA 1.2 in the wiki.  Action Item: Gershon to merge the pages for articles about DITA 11 and 1.2

Joe reported that he and Mathew made significant progress on the documentation. Action Item 4 marked as completed.

David Hollis reported that action item 6 should be marked as completed.

A call to get more people involved from participant companies, especially technical writers, was made. 

David Hollis discussed his progress with the SWOT analysis and plan for a white paper. Scott suggested adding a description of what the TC considers Strenghts, Weaknesses, Oportunities and Threats. JoAnn will provide additional materials for this task. David will extract main topics from the analysis and prepare a white paper. Scott suggested preparing a set of slides to present with the document. Action Item: JoAnn to review existing slides collections and check if a set of slides that complement the white paper can be prepared.  

Sowmya suggested publishing a fair comparison of DocBook and DITA. It was agreed that there is a need for that. Gershon will try to prepare a presentation with slides and then a white paper.
