Present: JoAnn Hackos, Gershon Joseph, Mathew Varghese, Rodolfo Raya, Joe Gelb, Frank Miller, Sowmya Kannan, Alex Masycheff.

JoAnn moved to approve previous minutes. Gershon seconded and none objected.

JoAnn sent a set of slides on SWOT Analysis to the TC. Action Item 3 completed.

Kristen announced Sowmnyas article in several places. Action Items 4 and 5 completed.

JoAnn suggested putting Sowmyas article in the Knowledge Base.  Action Item: JoAnn to add a link to the article in the DITA Knowledge Base.

Gershon did not have time to work on the list of tasks requirements to check for selecting DITA tools that we have in the wiki. 

Robin Sloan sent JoAnn sent a list of evaluation checks generated at her company. Action Item 8 completed.  New Action Item: JoAnn to review and clean the list, removing company specific details.

Rodolfo announced that he started working on an article on using XLIFF to translate DITA content. JoAnn and Gershon offered to review the text before its published.

JoAnn will contact David Hollis regarding his article on the SWOT analysis. 

Gershon summarized the status of the new DITA specification and explained the planned workflow. The goal is to submit the new specifications for DITA 1.2 as OASIS standard.

JoAnn will try to get the DITA Translation subcommittee transfer its work to a new subcommittee of this the DITA Adoption TC. Action item:  JoAnn to draft a charter for a new Translations subcommittee.

Joann will submit a document about glossaries to this TC and the DITA Translation subcommittee for review.

Members working on articles about DITA features were invited to propose deadlines for their work.
