Subject: Groups - Keyref Feature Overview (KeyrefFeatureOverview.zip) uploaded
- Removed extraneous </topicref> in sample code - Incorporated Eliot Kimber's clarification about scope of key definitions. In the section "Abstracting Key Definitions in a separate map" removed ------- >"These keys (or variables) > can be redefined later in the same map or in another > map and all topics that reference the keys will > automatically pick up the changes." ------------------------------------- added ----- The following guidelines explain how the scope and value of key definitions is determined: * The first definition of a key is its final value. Key definitions are implicitly ordered by document order within the map document and breadth-first order for nested maps. * Higher level maps can override key definitions in lower level maps. * Keys defined earlier in a map override keys defined later in the map. ------------------------- -- Sowmya Kannan The document revision named Keyref Feature Overview (KeyrefFeatureOverview.zip) has been submitted by Sowmya Kannan to the OASIS DITA Adoption TC document repository.
