Carry minutes over to next time.

Next meeting June 20. Regrets from Paul.

Agenda item 1, DITA for Beginner's article (Tony Self): Tony is willing to relay DITA for Beginners article to the TC. Must mention that it is republished.

Action Item: Jang will ask Mathew for permission to republish his article, and will publish his article about minimalism. Jung also read Tony Self’s article. Will keep an eye out for other articles to be republished.

Articles will be placed on focus area in lieu of formal publication process, after member review.

Agenda item 2, Differences between specs and DTDs (Jang): DITA TC to resolve the issue. The written spec is normative. Adoption TC needs to address where to put the link to the 1.2 spec in the focus area.

Agenda item 3, New keyref article: Chris recommends a separate keyref article instead of adding to existing. She will write a draft in July. Item closed. Action Item: Gershon, Account for this article in our list.

Address rest of feature articles next time.

Agenda item 5, Review Rodolfo's article on XLIFF: Discuss at next meeting. Action item: Everyone review the article before next meeting. Link is in the agenda for today’s meeting.

Agenda item 6, Discussion of Marc Speyer's questions about the DITA Generator tool: Action item: Everyone review Marc Speyer’s DITA Generator tool article. Link is in agenda.

Agenda item 7, Subcommittee reports: Doug has been focusing launching a new tool for university alumni. Can be a good tool for advancing DITA adoption. Help adoption: nothing new.

General Comments:
Jang is starting a project with Don Day to write an O’Riley book on DITA. Looking for tool for online discussion. To take DITA to new audiences: authors of all types.

Doug Morrison Investigating use of DITA for emergency response. Looking for comments.
