I should add that you can find the
latest revisions of the XML Schema on the DITA 1.2 Errata page.
https://wiki.oasis-open.org/dita/DITA1.2Errata It contains a link
to the latest XSD package.
Kind regards,
Eric

Hi Rudi,
The XSDs are in a different folder. http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os/DITA1.2-xsds
There are two versions of the schemas. One that makes used of
XML Catalogs to be used with XML parser that support catalogs
and the "URL" version which uses relative paths to point to the
schema documents. These can be used with XML parsers that don't
have any support for XML Catalogs.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,

Hi

I'd like to ship DITA in Fedora, but I noticed that the schema
doesn't appear to be available for distribution. For example, in
the catalog file at http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os/dtd1.2/catalog-dita.xml
I find:
<!-- (C) Copyright OASIS Open 2005,
2009. -->
<!-- (C) Copyright IBM Corporation 2001,
2004. -->
<!-- All Rights
Reserved. -->
So, my question is, does the DITA TC intend for the schema to be
redistributed? And if so, could somebody please clarify the
copyright notice on this (and other) files, to indicate the
appropriate license for redistribution?
Cheers
Rudi
