Subject: Resolving the learning map domain issues

Dear DITA learning content SC -
Based on our discussions, I've updated
the description of the DITA learning map domain in our wiki pages.
See http://wiki.oasis-open.org/dita/LearningContent/Structure/DITAMapDomain.
The working design now provides:
- A basic design pattern for a
learning object, with not additional levels of topicref nesting
- A learningGroup element to enable
organizing learning objects into higher-level organizations, such as course-level,
module-level, or lesson-level.
- learningAssessment now available
for inclusion in learningObject or learningGroup as either pre-test, post-test,
or both.
In addition, I have updated the learningMap
DTD design in the learningsc_plugin and added a learninggroups_ex.ditamap
sample (though did not add the referenced dita files from this map, so
do not attempt to build output with it).

Please reply back to the email list
with your comments.
I'll be setting up time to discuss with
Robin, Jeff, and Allyn. Let me know if you would like to participate in
that discussion.
Thanks.
John
