I will attend.
Cheers,

Hello everyone,
I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that Kris will be talking to the committee at our meeting today about the proposal stages and how to write a proposal, as well as to discuss how we should interact with the larger TC. This would be a good meeting to attend as it is our goal to try to accomplish more through email since getting together in meetings has been hard for us all. We have one regret so far, but many of you we honestly are not sure whether you are still interested in being on the committee or not. Please let us know if you can attend today so we do not waste Kris’ time if there are only a couple of us.
Thanks!
Dawn
I'll be joining the Learning and Training subcommittee tomorrow to talk about their work and how it intersects with that of the TC.
Amber raised a good question in her e-mail below; what are the TC expectations about work products, especially specs, that originate in subcommittees?
My personal sense is that the stages apply to work products that are developed within the TC, for example DITA 2.0 and whatever we call the "DITA for Technical Content" work product.
Subcommittees can develop work products in any way that works for them, with the understanding that eventually any work product must be reviewed, approved, and published by the TC.
Best,
Kris

Hi there,
We need a presentation to the DITA L&T subcommittee about the OASIS proposal process. Specifically, we need to know the following:
· What is required at each phase
· What is interaction required with the overall DITA TC? For example, does the committee have to review each phase or only phase 3?
Our next scheduled meeting is on Tuesday, June 26 at 10 pacific/1 eastern. Any chance that either of you could present at that meeting?
Thanks, Amber
