Attribute lists in MDITA

The current LwDITA spec uses PANDOC-style attribute lists in exactly one place, the example component. From the GitHub history and past minutes I could not find a reason for doing so. However, it has turned up as an issue in https://github.com/jelovirt/org.lwdita/issues/178 and Jarno pinged me about it.

 

I could see that the example component has been added in July 2020 and the minutes of the meeting from March 16, 2020 (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/66939/LwDITA%20Meeting%20Minutes%20for%20Mar%2016,%202020.txt) just reported consensus on adding example.

Three from that meeting are still among us;) so if anybody has a recollection on that, it would be interesting to know.

 

Also, we have to develop a position on that question. The consequence of not supporting it (in the extended MDITA profile) is detailed in the GitHub issue, because the current version of the LwDITA plugin does not. The consequences of supporting it is something that we should discuss here on the list and on the next meeting.
