Subject: Actions from face-to-face meeting

Hi,
This mail summarizes some ongoing actions/issues:

1) Link to SubjectScheme proposal #12031:
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/26359/IssueControlledValues12031.html
The proposal I think is very interesting, but as always when you dig into something from a machine industry perspective a number of questions/issues arises. They are send separately.

2) Type attribute on topicref (type attribute proposal).
A topicref can have a type attribute (CDATA?) which is used to tell what type of content the topic has (for example task, concept, reference, other). The value is used when processing content for on-line deliverables to group related topics links. The category element in topic prolog is also used to tell what type of content the topic contains. And now the subjectScheme proposal is about similar things. So a very complex situation can be build where the same thing is expressed in various places.

3) Response from Astoria on-demand solution for conditional processing support:
---start---
Yes we support usage of DITAVAL and using the %sel-atts group of attributes for inclusion/filtering/flagging.

In addition to that, we do provide an alternative method that goes beyond DITAVAL capabilities. DITAVAL (for dita1.1) can ONLY be used with these attributes. Astorias effectively filtering supports this fully. In addition, Astorias effectively filtering provides for filtering using any xpath condition. So, in addition to filtering on the DITAVAL attributes, you can also filter on items in topic/prolog section of the files. This extends filtering to actual content in the files and provides for more precise filtering methods. We also offer another method that uses an inventory selection of possible filtering values.
---end---
This means that you can filter on element (values) content?

Link to standards on STC (UK?) page comming soon.
Br,
Jonatan
