2) Discussion of MI subjects for DITA 1.3
The attached PDF file summarizes the discussion and shows the lead for each
subject.

3) Relevant Standards
When going in more details (spare parts, diagnostics, maintenenance) we
will check existing standards for useful definitions.
Jonatan will provide a link to an sTC website listing relevant standards.

4) Jonatan suggests to inspect SubjectScheme proposal #12031 and has sent
the link:
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/26359/IssueControlledValues12031.html
The proposal I think is very interesting, but as always when you dig into
something from a machine industry perspective a number of questions/issues
arises. They are send separately.

5) Jonatan proposes to discuss type attribute on topicref (type attribute
proposal).
A topicref can have a type attribute (CDATA?) which is used to tell what
type of content the topic has (for example task, concept, reference,
other). The value is used when processing content for on-line deliverables
to group related topics links. The category element in topic prolog is also
used to tell what type of content the topic contains. And now the
subjectScheme proposal is about similar things. So a very complex situation
can be build where the same thing is expressed in various places.

6) DITA for MI promotion
Sissi suggests that DITA for MI needs more promotion especially in
Germany.
We discussed the following possibilities:

MI use cases

Webinar for DITA MI

Articles in relevant magazines (VDMA, tekom nachrichten, ...)

DiTA Wiki with MI information and for open discussion

Chris will ask TC for further ideas.
Sissi will ask Michael Fritz whether the "tekom DITA Empfehlung" can be
updated for DITA 1.2 adding a chapter for MI.
Chris and Sissi will contact Mr. Ziegler (pimod).
PTC will provide early integration of new MI features for testing.

7) The next telephone meeting is on Tuesday, November 24.

Kind regards
Sissi
