We discussed your note at Tuesday's DITA TC session. Eliot Kimber will
be the 
TC's liason to your group for the expert guidance that you requested.
This note 
is the handshake to let you begin coordinating your activities. In
addition, 
although I have not copied his name here, I would like to suggest that
John Hunt 
has probably set the exemplary path for other SC chairs to learn from on
the 
process his SC used to develop and prepare their materials for the TC's
eventual 
review and approval. I'm sure he would be glad to help mentor in any way
he can.

If either you or Eliot run into anything in the process of your preps
whereby 
you need more input from the DITA TC, of course please let me know.

At some point, once your SC has been through the process as well, it
might be 
good for the TC to have a Lessons Learned session with the various SC
leads and 
the participating TC coaches (including Eliot and Robert Anderson to my 
knowledge) to put into a process document that other SCs can follow.

OASIS DITA TC team;

The semiconductor information design subcommittee is working toward the
next 
draft release of a specialization in the next two to three weeks. As
you'll 
recall from the discussion we had on the TC teleconference about a month
ago, 
the SIDSC could greatly benefit from the expert guidance of the TC as we
move 
forward.

As such, I've taken the action item to get the next revision of the 
specialization to the TC as soon as it is ready:

My question: who is going to take the action item at the TC level to 
coordinate / execute this review?
