Subject: SIDSC use case question

Folks,

A question has come up with respect to machine-readable definition of non-register spaces in an SoC memory map. Specific examples are interfaces to storage arrays such as RAM and ROM (i.e., DDR, SRAM and Flash) in a typical microcontroller address space.

Currently, the SIDSC specializations only comprehend memory-mapped registers and thus don't directly support non-register spaces such as storage arrays.

Have any of you come up with local specializations to support storage arrays, or perhaps some sort of @outputclass "override" for the existing SIDSC specializations?

Respectfully,
Bob Beims
