DST time changes [was: DITA Technical Committee Meeting Minutes: 18 September 2007]

It is true that some areas are already changing--see http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst2007b.html for daylight savings time (DST) changes.

 

However, FWIW, for most of Europe, DST ends the last Sunday of October, and for most of North America, it ends the first Sunday of November this year.

 

Unless as a TC we decide differently, it is customary for OASIS telcon times to be anchored in East Coast US time.  Therefore, in locales ending DST at a time other than the first Sunday of November, there will be times the call will occur at something other than the usual local time for you.
